Introduction to Carter Brown

Alan G Yates (1923-1985) is one of Australia's most popular authors. This blog site is part of an Australian Research Council research grant. The University of Queensland has also contributed to my research by providing teaching relief, conference funding and travel funds over the past several years. I am keen to hear from anyone who knows anything about his publishing history. Or anyone who has read his novel--for although sales of around 70 million are claimed, few people admit to having reading the Carter Brown Mystery Series.
